Animal Shelter Attendant

Due to internal promotion, there is a part-time position available at the Garrett Animal Shelter. Position hours: 8:00am-Noon, Mon-Fri, with an occasional weekend or holiday shift. Must enjoy working with animals, cleaning cages, interacting with the public and other routine tasks. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Moderate lifting and strength to walk larger dogs is required. Apply before Friday, July 25 at City Hall, 18 E 4th Street. This is an on-going, year-round position with a starting salary of $7.00/hour with future increases available. We are a drug-free employer. EOE.

Tanglewood Golf Course is accepting applications for various part-time temporary positions to assist with general maintenance or food and beverage duties. Ideal positions for college students or retired persons wanting supplemental income. Flexible scheduling available. Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.

Buildings & Grounds

Temporary maintenance workers are needed in Buildings & Grounds. Positions will work full-time temporary, Mon-Fri, day shift. Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license and like working outdoors. Position will mow, weed-eat and perform general maintenance duties.
